Student Accessibility Services
NEW INFORMAITON FOR AUGUST!
WELCOME!
Student Accessibilty Services ensures that students with disabilities have equal access to all the opportunities that college offers. Students register with us for a number of reasons, including learning disabilities such as ADHD, mental health conditions such as depression or anxiety, medical conditions such as diabetes or food allergies, physical disabilities, and even temporary medical conditions such as concussions.
Students registered with our department may receive academic accommodations for the classroom, or housing accommodations for living arrangements.
How to register:
Registering with us is easy, but it can take some time to gather all the documentation you will need, so it's best to begin the registration process as soon as possible.
The first step is to fill out a registration/intake form.
Then review the documentation guidelines and reach out to your healthcare professional. If you had an IEP in high school, you can reach out to your school guidance counselor to obtain a copy of the IEP and testing. It is important that the IEP is accompanied by testing documentation.
Email a copy of your documentation to sas@worcester.edu.
Once we have received documentation and your intake form is complete, we will reach out to you to schedule an intake meeting via Zoom, Google Hangouts or the phone.
Remember to regularly check your WSU email account for updates from SAS on your registration process and that you can talk to a member of the SAS staff at any time if you have questions.
