Junior BeaverBots Camp 2022

In our 2021-22 season, we hosted a "camp" for our local middle school!

We provided "MiPs" for the participants to do some simple programming with. They then had an obstacle course they had to try to navigate their robot through.

Some of our members traveled to the middle school to talk to the office about putting up posters. We got permission and made sure to put them in places where they were sure to be seen.

We sent up an obstacle course and a points sheet and made handouts so that all the kids would have one.

We also decided on awards to give the winners of different categories.

After we gave the participants a few weeks to figure out how to use the MiPs, we hosted our main competition!

After all the judges talked, we handed out prizes to the winners!
