The Tudors with Year 5.
We began the academic year by making continuous line drawings (where you don't take your pen off the paper) of Henry V111.
Then we made pastel life sized Tudor Monarch portraits.
After making our large Tudor portraits we made miniatures of ourselves dressed as Tudors, we placed them inside frames made from recycled boxes, finally we decorated them.
Children in Year 5 used a self portrait and added acetate, markers and collage to create selfie calendars.
