Have you filled out the FAFSA yet?
Every student who plans to attend a college/university after high school needs to have their parent/guardian fill out the FAFSA whether you choose to utilize scholarships, grants, or loans
The FAFSA is a tool that colleges/universities use to track students’ financial aid (scholarships, grants, loans, work study, etc.) and will not award any type of financial aid without a FAFSA on file
For a Step by Step Guide to create your Federal Student Aid Account or complete your FAFSA, please see the resources below:
Utilize the CTRL + F finder button on a computer to narrow your scholarship search (i.e. Woodford, agriculture, engineering, leadership, etc.) relevant to you.
THOUSANDS of scholarship donations go unutilized each year just because students do not apply for them. APPLY even if you think you won’t qualify. The worst thing they can tell you is, “No.” 🙂
Many colleges and universities are offering FREE TUITION to every student who qualifies for a PELL Grant (income based). Ask the schools you are interested in about this opportunity to see if they participate!
