DAY  1: exploring caen

Fourth former Liam Wilson writes our travel journal entry for Saturday, February 28, 2026. Liam was feeling under the weather, so we added some pictures.

Today, we landed in Paris around 7:30 (1:30 in the US), and made our way to Caen. On our way, we saw the Olympic stadium, and stopped at a gas stop, one that is very different than ours in the States. This gas station had different restaurants, and was very clean. After we arrived in Caen, we got some lunch, and afterwards took some time to relax and shower after the long flight. We then visited a chapel, and explored Caen until dinner, at 7:30, and afterwards returned to our hotel for a good night's sleep.
