Under the direction of the Director and Assistant Superintendent of Learning Services, and the guidance of the Lacombe Outreach principal, I led a small team of teachers to continue to prepare, provide and manage learning materials for elementary students whose families who chose to have their students learning at home as the COVID pandemic came to an end.

Under the direction of the Co-ordinators, Directors, and the Assistant Superintendent of Learning Services, I worked throughout the school division to support teachers in their own learning with literacy supports and educational technology.
Ferry Bank Colony School, Wolf Creek Public Schools - Teacher/Principal. Ponoka County, Alberta. October 2011 to June 2015. As the sole teacher at the colony school, I was responsible for educating all students, aged 5 to 15. Administrative duties as a colony teacher included some of the same responsibilities as a principal in a typical school, such as budgeting, purchasing supplies, and hiring and supervising an Educational Assistant. In my fourth year at Ferry Bank, I served as Team Leader/Instructional Coach for the Colony Teaching team, requiring me to plan and lead CRM and Professional Development for our team of five teachers and five educational assistants. I worked with the team to ensure instructional minutes were met and successfully petitioned for a regular relief teacher to allow colony teachers prep time.

Youth Tech Nation, Wolf Creek Public Schools - team member. June 2017 to 2020. As a part of this dynamic team, I helped organize and run a technology conference for the students of Wolf Creek Public Schools. This conference was designed to allow students to show what they know by planning and presenting sessions to their peers.
Rimbey/Bluffton Minor Ball - board member. Spring 2015 - Fall 2017. This board works to keep Minor Baseball running and organized in the towns of Rimbey and Bluffton. I served as registrar for one year and general board member for two. During this time, I also coached our Coach Pitch team for one season.
