Welcome to the Student Support Hub Google Site!

A very warm welcome to new students and welcome back to our returning students!  Below you will find a selection of quick start guides introducing the Student Support Hub.


Remember if you are confused, don't know how to do something, or need any information - just ask!  The team are here to help.

We are based on the first floor of the main building and you can also email the Library via Library@wmsf.ac.uk or the Careers Team via Careers@wmsf.ac.uk

Who can help me in the Student Support Hub?

Library Team

Lucia Al-Talal - Head of the Student Support Hub - laltalal@wmsf.ac.uk

Lucia is the Head of the Student Support Hub and is a qualified librarian. This means she can help you not only with general enquiries but also in finding, evaluating and using information for your classwork, homework and coursework across all curriculum areas.

Fiona Broadhurst - Learning Facilitator - fbroadhurst@wmsf.ac.uk

Fiona is here to help with general enquiries and is a music technology graduate.

Harold Smith - Library Facilitator - hjsmith@wmsf.ac.uk

Harold is here to help with general enquiries and is a science graduate.

Careers Team

Lotte Rimoncelli - Higher Education Coordinator - crimoncelli@wmsf.ac.uk

She helps with all things UCAS related. This includes personal statement support, searching for courses, early applications, student finance queries and Unifrog.

Lucy Maher - Apprenticeship & Work Experience Coordinator - Lmaher@wmsf.ac.uk

Able to support with apprenticeship enquiries and applications and support in finding work experience opportunities. Sports Science graduate.

Sophie Biggs - Careers Adviser - sbiggs@wmsf.ac.uk

The person you need to speak to if you don't know what you want to do! Also able to provide general help for Careers and University inquiries. Religious Studies and Philosophy Graduate, Qualified Teacher and Careers Adviser.
