Emily Deutsch

Bio:

Emily Deutsch started teaching at West Lyon in 2022. She directs the 5th-8th Grade Bands, and co-directs the "Wildcat" Marching Band.

Mrs. Deutsch received her Bachelor of Music Degree in Music Education from Simpson College in Indianola, IA. Before coming to West Lyon, she taught for 14 years at Central Lyon in Rock Rapids, IA.

Mrs. Deutsch loves spending time with her husband Coach Deutsch, their yellow lab Finley and cat Alex, training for marathons, cooking, hunting, fishing, and reading.
