Dear WLIS Parents and Guardians,
I am a recent graduate of Ball State University with a bachelor’s degree in music education, specializing in vocal and general music for grades preK–12. During my student teaching in the Delaware Community School District with grades K–5, I led students through movement activities, singing, and playing instruments such as the ukulele and a variety of pitched and unpitched percussion instruments. I am trained in the Orff Schulwerk approach, which allows me to use creative, hands-on music-making to inspire a love of music and support each student’s growth. I am very excited to begin my first teaching role and have the opportunity to work with your students to share my passion for music.
