World Kindness Day

COUNSELING Department and the Helping Hands Club Celebrate World Kindness Day.

On November 13, Beach Street Middle School celebrates World Kindness Day. Driven by the World Kindness Movement and recognized in many countries, World Kindness involves people around the world showing that we can think about more than ourselves, and that we will make the world a better place because of it. This year, the Helping Hands club decorated the building with signs to encourage kindness. Mr. Luquer led school-wide morning messages to discuss and brought awareness to World Kindness Day, and Ms. Crowley and the Helping Hands Club made a presentation in each cafeteria period that culminated with every student taking a positive character pledge and signing a banner which will be displayed in the school as a constant reminder that we can make a difference in this world through kindness.
