EXTRA HELP: SEMESTER ONE

Students are recommended to attend extra help for any subject in which they need additional support. It is important to get into the routine of attending extra help on a regular basis, and not just before major exams! TIP: What to ask when you go to extra help? When you are doing your homework, and/or preparing for a test/quiz, highlight everything you are having difficulty understanding - maybe it's one particular part of a math problem or a certain science reference - HIGHLIGHT, and bring it with you to extra help and that will be your talking point!

The "middle school experience" is all about getting involved and stepping outside your comfort zone! Joining a club/activity is a great way to make new friends, have fun, and connect to your school community. Club meeting dates will always be announced during morning announcements, so listen carefully! For further information and details, contact the club adviser by e-mail or see him/her during school hours. Most clubs you can join at any point throughout the year, and you may attend as many meetings as you are able to.
