Resources + Research

This page is designed to help K-12 administrators and teachers find unbiased reviews of commonly utilized instructional materials, tools, and products that support instruction and learning in all learning environments.  You will also find the most up-to-date local and statewide vendor contracts held by PAIU and the WIU, designed to provide districts with consortium purchasing power.

EdReports publishes free reviews of K-12 instructional materials. The reports include information regarding standards alignment, usability, focus & coherence, and rigor & practices.

The Louisiana Department of Education has one of the most rigorous approval processes for instructional materials in the country.  Their process includes a tiered evaluation.

Capterra allows users to search for K-12 software products, review pricing and features, and compare similar products.  User reviews are also included.

In collaboration with educators and parents, NYU Steindardt has developed a Culturally Responsive Curriculum Scorecard designed to help districts determine whether or not instructional materials are culturally responsive.
