School Counselors taught weekly counseling lessons to students in grades K-5th. Guidance lessons focused on student needs as per the Panorama survey and were tailored to meet the needs of the students.
As per the Panorama survey conducted during Winter 2023, in the Self-Management category, 58% of students felt they managed their emotion, thoughts and behaviors in different situations well. As per the Panorama survey conducted during Spring 2024, in the Self-Management category, 61% of students felt they managed their emotions, thoughts and behaviors in different situations well.
In coordination with the community, students attended the Military Connected Child Proclamation. During this event, community partners, including the police department, military officials and local members, presented to students about their importance to the community. This collaboration helped raise awareness and support for military-connected students.
