450 W. Mifflin is a Gable Front Cottage that has undergone many physical changes that accurately convey the variety of inhabitants that it had held. There are three major extensions that have been done during the change from single family housing to apartment complex with the extension of the left hand side of the building, the quarter room added to the attic, and the extra room in the back of the building.  Most recent porch appears to be an addition by Lofgren apartments, the current property manager.
