Blind people need to have cheaper access to technology, so that they could have better and steady access to income. Blind people and access to technology, specifically typing is what we set out to try and fix. By researching and learning from other credible websites and places, and working with institutions like the Los Angeles Braille institution we figured out many problems with this barrier and how we can fix it. For example a cheap refreshable braille display cost $2000 and an expensive one can cost up to $15000. We thought that this was ridiculous so we set out to find an easier solution.
