Did you know that the most successful learners are those who are able to 'self-regulate', and can demonstrate good learning habits? This means that learners can work independently, find help when they need it, and be brave in the face of challenge.
We believe that you can all be brilliant learners; learners who aspire to be resilient and courageous in learning and in life. This is important when you are in school, in our classrooms learning, but it is now also extremely important when you are learning remotely from home, as we are now during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Across our WAT family of schools, we are ASPIRING for each and every one of you to develop and to demonstrate the six Character Virtues and six Learner Skills. These virtues and skills will allow you to become successful, independent and brave learners, both now in these challenging times and in the future.
We look forward to seeing you demonstrate these virtues and skills in action!
Our ASPIRE Challenge will help you develop your character virtues and learner skills to aspire to be the best learner and best person you can be. The challenge starts Monday 8th February.
