Semester Notes Directions

Throughout the course of this semester, you will be taking notes on ONE GOOGLE DOC.  You are expected to have all of your notes completed as we go through topics in class.  Your notes may not look like everyone else's. This is a chance for you to discover the best note taking style for you.

The semester notes assignment will be posted on classroom.

• When we do notes in class...

  • Add the current date to the day's notes. Put this date in bold.

  • Organize your notes using bullet points. 

    • Secondary information about the topic should be bullet-pointed under the primary information. 

The notes we do in class will a large part of your participation grade, and I will know if you just copy and paste someone else's before they're due.  

Note-taking is a valuable skill for any student planning on succeeding in post-secondary education.
