Post-High School Planning Information

Students are assigned the same counselor for the 10th, 11th, and 12th grades. Although post-high school counseling does not formally begin until the spring of the junior year, school counselors have been spending time getting to know your student since they stepped foot into high school.

The school counselors work with students to develop post-high school plans that match their academic/career endeavors. Students are advised and supported throughout the post-high school planning process.

Through the junior seminar, senior workshop, individual student meetings, parent/guardian/student webinars, and resources available on this website and in the college and career resource center, the WHS school counseling department provides comprehensive support.

The WHS counseling department presented the Junior Seminar to all Juniors during advisory on Wednesday, Dec. 13th.

Topics included Schoolinks, Post High School Options, and the College Search.
