Birthday Book Club

The Romona Elementary School library greatly benefits from our Birthday Book Club program.  The Birthday Book Club is an opportunity for students and their families to recognize birthdays in a special way by contributing the cost of a new book to the Romona Library. Students who participate in Birthday Book Club will be invited to the library to pick out a new book to checkout the first Wednesday of their birthday month (summer birthdays will visit in August and May). The book will be identified with a personalized nameplate with your child's name, birth month & day, and donation year. Your child will be the first students to check out the book from the library! The book is considered a "bonus" library book and they can keep it for two weeks.

If you are interested in having your child participate in the Birthday Book Club, please submit the form below to the mailbox in the main office along with your donation to the library or you may pay online through the Romona PTA website.  Although you may sign up at any time during the year, signing up at the beginning of the school year allows us to determine the approximate number of books to purchase for the program. It is a wonderful way to make a lasting contribution to Romona’s Library Media Center!
