Romona Book Week!

Next week is Romona Book Week and many fun activities have been planned for students to help foster a love of reading! On Monday, to kick off Book Week, Caldecott award winning author and illustrator Paul O. Zelinsky will be visiting Romona. Students have been preparing for his visit by reading his books in library class and learning how to draw, Moose, one of his characters from the book, Z is for Moose.

Below are the daily themes:

Show Your Spirit for Romona Book Week!

~ November 14 - 18 ~

Monday: Paul O. Zelinsky’s visit to Romona

Tuesday: Reading is Everywhere

· Wear a shirt with words

Wednesday: Team Up with a Good Book

· Wear your favorite team’s shirt

Thursday: Dress as a Character

· Dress up as your favorite book character

Friday: Romona Reads

· Wear PJs to school and bring a blanket, pillow, OR stuffed animal to read with during silent reading
