Tuba

The tuba produces the lowest sounds in the band. It usually performs the bass line and is therefore the most important of the brass instruments. The tuba may be played in a special stand so that students of any size can readily handle this large instrument. Two school-owned instruments are assigned to each student- one for home practice and one for rehearsals and sectionals at school. For this reason, enrollment on tuba is limited.
