Willington Prep - Celebrating 140 years - 1885-2025
Year 4 pupils have settled into their new school year splendidly, quickly getting into the swing of their lessons with remarkable enthusiasm. They’ve embarked on their first topic in math's, exploring the concept of place value. Also, we delved straight back into our times tables with a Times Table Rockstars battle against each other! In preparation for their upcoming science lessons, the children have been learning about safety in the lab. In English, they’ve shown creativity and reflection by writing their own story using inspiration from a picture. We started our new history topic on Romans and began to ask historical questions that we can't wait to explore.
The enthusiasm and engagement with which Year 4 have approached their lessons and new activities have filled us with pride. As teachers, we are delighted with the positive start to the year and eagerly anticipate the journey ahead. Thank you, parents, for your continued support. We look forward to another fantastic week of learning and growth.
