2024 CONFERENCE

The Promoting Inclusion in Economic Research (PIER) 2024 conference hosted by Williams College will be on Saturday, April 27, 2024.  We will bring undergraduate students from a range of institutions together to share their research and engage in networking and mentoring activities.

The conference aims to promote economic research by and professional development of undergraduate students whose identities or life experiences are under-represented in the field of economics.

We are no longer accepting submissions. We will notify submitters whether their abstracts were accepted very soon. 

Williams students (who are not presenting), faculty, and staff who want to attend: please complete this form.

PIER is the current version of a conference we first ran in 2017 (WiER - Women in Economic Research). Starting in 2021 we expanded the conference’s goal to one of promoting a diverse set of voices, across a broad range of dimensions, in the field of economics.
