Today, Friday, October 25th, we celebrated the Witches Walk! All the students got into the Halloween spirit with their costumes and enjoyed a festive walk. Even some staff members joined in the fun! We also held a competition for the scariest classroom. We’ll be sharing photos from today soon, but for now, enjoy these snaps from previous years!
Junior and Senior Infants enjoyed an autumn nature walk on the greenway. They collected leaves, berries and conkers for their nature table. Now their nature table looks amazing .
Our school won this year's Alliance Rewards Pitch Day competition. A selection of boys and girls from 3rd & 4th Classes represented our school on Wednesday 23rd October by playing a match against children from a Roscommon school in Croke Park. The SNB children all played great and won the match.
Before the games all children enjoyed a guided tour of the GAA Museum/Stadium.
6th class visited Navan Racecourse on Wednesday, October 23rd. The purpose of this educational day was to strengthen the connection between the racecourse and the local community. The students experienced a behind-the-scenes look at the racetrack and had the opportunity to meet the team, including a horse trainer, a jockey, a vet, and a farrier.
