The Victorious Wolf Tones Ladies

On Monday 21st of October, the Wolf Tones Ladies kindly came into the school to show the children the cup they won in the final. All classes really enjoyed asking them questions, holding the cup and getting the players' signatures. It really was an inspirational day for the children!

Cumann na mBunscol

This term, our boys' and girls' teams participated in the Cumann na mBunscol GAA football competition. Both teams performed admirably, with the boys' team making it to the semi-finals against Lismullen on October 22nd. Unfortunately, they didn’t come away with a win. We encourage them to keep practicing at home and with their club as they prepare for next year.

Thanks to Mr. Harte, Mr. Minnock, Ms. Owens and our SNA Elaine Coyne who trained the teams over the past few weeks. A big thank you also to Brendan and Eimear Doughty who provided the team with refreshments at Park Beo after the boys' semi final.

Badminton

All classes have enjoyed badminton classes over the past four weeks with parents Kitty Farrelly, Jill Olwill & Laura Skully. A big thank you to these parents for making this happen. All classes will continue with lessons on Mondays until the 11th of November.

Cross Country Running

Trials were held on the 17th & 18th of October for the Meath schools competition in Fairyhouse. It will take place on the 20th of November at 10am. Best of luck to all those who will be taking part [pictured above].

Rollerblading & Rollerskating Club

This September a new club started during lunch time on Wednesdays. Our SNA Mary-Jane has organised this fun rollerskating and rollerblading club. The children LOVE skating around the hall to music.
