Drawing and Painting
Drawing and Painting is a fast paced, hands-on class where students will explore a variety of 2D media including but not limited to graphite, colored pencil, marker, acrylic, watercolor and more. The semester is divided into quarters; Quarter 1 will focus heavily on drawing techniques with an emphasis on design elements and principles. The second half of the semester will delve into painting a variety of themes and subjects using different paint media and techniques. All students will create a digital portfolio of their work and participate in a minimum of 2 gallery exhibitions.
