In digital arts, students will explore a variety of digital applications including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign. Students will analyze and integrate design concepts into their digital compositions. They will learn things including but not specific to the basics of digital photography, how to manipulate and edit photos, how to create a variety of graphics for print and web, web-site design, animation and more. Digital Arts is recommended for students interested in commercial art, photography and computer graphics. This course includes a mandatory field trip where they will have the chance to see and experience what they have learned in a real-world setting, and all students will participate in creating a digital portfolio and will present their work at the semester showcase.
