Media Monsters are the students in a multi-aged homeroom. They meet each morning to produce a (almost live) morning broadcast that is shown over the close circuit system. We hope to inform students of school news, give reminders and make announcements. Media Monsters also create informative and fun videos during their advisory class. Some students in the homeroom also elect to participate in the Hiki No After school program which partners with professional TV producers from PBS Hawaii Hiki No.

Students in the Media Monster Homeroom and Video Production Classes practice:

• Effectively use of Video Camera, Tripod and Microphones.
• Editing of raw footage using iMovie.
• Writing for and planning various types of video projects.
