Physics

For those of you in the Physics class, check the Google Classroom for specific topics and practice problems.

For anyone else interested, check out some of the cool/fun links below:

Mark Roper's Youtube Channel

Lots of cool science experiments with explanations. Here is a link to the channel itself: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCY1kMZp36IQSyNx_9h4mpCg

Science Max's Youtube Channel

Some of it is a bit elementary like Bill Nye but definitely entertaining to watch when they scale up the experiments (like they made a full size bridge out of pasta to walk across in one episode). Here is the link to the main channel itself: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCbprhISv-0ReKPPyhf7-Dtw

Mindblowing: What if you could build a table or structure using rope?

Ready to have your world turned upside down? Watch the video to the left that shows a table where all the major support elements are string. See if you can figure out how it works before it is discussed in the video.

The video uses a principle called "tensegrity". A similar method can be found in other works of art and is even responsible for holding your spine upright!
