7. Oval & Grounds

Come and see our green spaces at WHC. Our students and staff are lucky to have such expansive school grounds to play and learn. 

• You will find the AFL program training on the oval daily.

• The oval is also used for our physical education classes.

• We use the oval for special college events, including our beginning of the year assembly and Indigenous smoking ceremony. 

• Our brand new gym will be completed in Term 2, 2025 and will be used by all of our students and staff. 

• We also have another campus on Quamby Avenue – called our ‘Quamby’ campus. In this space, we have an indoor court (for Physical Education) and an indoor ‘craft’ room. A unique and purpose-built space for student-athletes in the AFL program to refine their skills.

• We have outdoor basketball rings, table tennis tables and four square courts that are available for all students to enjoy.

• There are picnic tables spread across the campus for students to enjoy their breaks.
