This is the SSP community Green Building.
This space is frequently used by the Specialist Sports Program (SSP) and Aspiring Athlete Program (AAP), including our four pillar sports: AFL, Basketball, Netball and Soccer.
There are approximately 600 students in the SSP and AAP in 2025.
In Year 7 SSP, student-athletes will complete 9 sessions per week within their specialised sport covering skill development, tactical and strategy, conditioning, strength and education sessions.
An SSP student-athlete will still complete all of their core subjects, including English, Maths, Science, Humanities plus 2 electives (per year).
An SSP student-athlete is still eligible for the Accelerate Learning Program.
Year 7 AAP is reserved for students within our local zone 3215 (please go to find my school) and is a program for students who live, love and breathe sport.
Our student-athletes have access to our elite gym facilities as a part of SSP, AAP as well as before school, during lunch and after school.
We have physiotherapists, sport psychologists and sport nutrition support within the SSP and AAP.
All of our world class SSP coaches have their offices in this building for all four pillar sports.
A brand new gym build will commence in 2026.
Netball, Soccer and Basketball use local elite facilities for training on a daily and weekly basis.
We have industry partnership with Melbourne Victory (Soccer), Melbourne Vixens (Netball) and Geelong United WNBL (Basketball). As a part of these partnerships, we have players and coaches that regularly work with our student-athletes.
