1.Red Building

Welcome to the Year 7 Learning Community Building – affectionately known as the Red Building.

• This year we have 222 students in year 7 across 10 classes. 

• The red building is the home base for the majority of our year 7 classes, including mentor, English, humanities and mathematics. Students will move to different buildings for specialist subjects like science, art and music.

• The year 7 Sub-School Leader, Learning Community Leaders and mentor teachers have their offices in this building.

• The literacy intervention and Macquarie literacy (macqlit) programs take place in small breakout rooms in this building. 

• All year 7 student lockers are located outside of this building.

• The Disability and Inclusion team are also located in this building. They are here to support students who require some additional support with their learning, social skills or mobility.
