Living Environment

Welcome to my Living Environment class at Westhampton Beach High School. I am looking forward to getting to know all of my students this year. We will be studying a wide range of topics throughout the year and doing loads of hands-on lab work (based on these standards.) Please take a moment to browse the New York State Science Learning Standards and the Next Generation Science Standards .

I am available for Extra Help after-school at least every Monday and Wednesday but if you would like to see me during your lunch, study hall or after school another day, don't hesitate to ask me. We use a combination of text books, printed materials and on-line resources. I use Google Classroom for Homework as well as some assignments and quizzes. See the Course Materials page to access your class.

Test Retake Policy:

• Students ALWAYS have the opportunity to improve their grade by retaking exams. In order to retake an exam, students must

  • Do Test Corrections of the first exam

  • Have no missing work

  • Attend extra help to review their first exam.

• After these have been completed, I will provide the student with new exam. The better grade of the two will go in Powerschool
