Website Design Process
For the Technology Design Portfolio – TDT1 course, Task 1 requires the student to create a four-page website containing some basic elements and specifications. The student completed the task by creating a website using Google Sites.
The website is located at https://tinyurl.com/ybmc7ptl. Task 1 also requires the student to detail the website creation process followed. A process outline is provided below.
1) Create:
a) Go to https://sites.google.com/. The Sites home screen opens.
b) Click Create. The New Site page opens.
c) Select a template and name your site.
d) Click Create. A blank website template opens in edit mode.
2) Personalize:
a) Use tools in right pane to add text, images, and other content.
b) Click Preview button at top to review edits.
3) Publish:
a) Click Publish. A notification appears at bottom of the screen.
b) Click View on the notification to see your published site.
