Description: Explore the powerful math routine of Number Talks! If you were in Webster pre-pandemic, this will build on your learning from Kara Imm! If you are new to Webster since the pandemic, join us to learn how to use Number Talks in your classroom, structures to support their use, and practice using them with your grade-level content.

Description: Write and review the HS math course curriculums (College Algebra, Algebra 1 Part 1, Algebra 1 Part 2, AMPED, AP Statistics and Algebra 2 vs. Algebra 2/Trig vs. Honors Algebra 2/Trig, and Honors Geometry vs. Geometry) based on the MO Learning Standards and ACT Standards. Collaborate with colleagues to plan for dynamic math experiences for your classroom and develop thinking tasks. Continue instructional design using district math resources and capitolize on the opportunity for vertical conversations.

Description: Are you interested in serving on the committee to review our Elementary Math resources? If so, join us this summer as we begin the work! This committee will be addressing the following recommendation from the Math Program Evaluation: Explore new K-5 math resources to possibly find one that is better aligned with the K-5 Missouri Learning Standards in comparison to Investigations.
Possibility of keeping Investigations and working to find cohesive supplementation and teacher PD.
Possibility of selecting a new resource could include: closer alignment with MO Learning Standards, while still offering opportunities for students to collaborate, play games, and develop their mathematical identity.
Additionally, select a new K-5 math online resource.

Date: July 10-21, 2023; and four full days and four after school sessions throughout the 2023-2024 school year
