Stipend or 1 Salary Credit for July 26 & July 27
Description: This session requires an invitation from Dr. Williamson and is reserved for teachers in their 2nd year in Webster Groves School District. This retreat will focus on a series of learning experiences designed to help educators understand and deal with their own issues regarding race, class, and gender in order for them to better connect with colleagues, students, and parents. Since the establishment of community is such a vital piece of this work, we ask that you be present for the duration of each of the full-day training sessions. Your continued participation and attendance at the sessions during the school year is also critical because we know doing social justice work is an on-going process and not done in a day or two.
