DH@Wake Summer Institute presents Community and Collections, a 3-day webinar on connecting communities through building digital collections. Speakers will present innovative projects in which they have forged community partnerships through the creation of web-based resources of archival materials, and have reanimated the archive with voices of forgotten or silenced communities.
DH@Wake Summer Institute presents Community and Collections, a 3-day webinar on connecting communities through building digital collections. Speakers will present innovative projects in which they have forged community partnerships through the creation of web-based resources of archival materials, and have reanimated the archive with voices of forgotten or silenced communities.
Community and Collections will highlight digital humanities collaborations by research teams at Wake Forest University, the University of Washington, and the University of Delaware, as well as innovative digital humanities classroom collaborations that have bridged divides between the university and community partners. The final day of the webinar will feature workshops on collaborating with community partners, DH classroom projects, and storytelling with data.

Registration for the 2020 DH@Wake Summer Institute is required, but is free and open to the public. Sessions will be held online via Zoom.
