We've all grown up listening to fairy tales; some of which include Little Red Riding Hood, Goldilocks and the Three Bears, and The Three Little Pigs. Many of these fairy tales begin with "Once upon a time..." and end with "...and they lived happily ever after."

For this assignment, you and a partner will choose a fairy tale to read. Together, you will rewrite the ending with a forensic science twist, and turn your fairy tale into a SCARY TALE! Some topics you studied this year include: bite marks, blood spatter, bones, DNA, fingerprints, hair samples, toxicology, time of death, and Locard's Principle. You are free to change the plot of your fairy tale to make it interesting and/or funny - but you must include several examples of forensic evidence to give your fairy tale a new ending and demonstrate your understanding of forensic science.
