Never Ending Book and variations on a theme

More often than not, artists work in a series.

That means they choose an idea or theme and create many different artworks related to that theme.

For example, Georgia O'Keeffe was famous for her large flower paintings, but no two looked exactly alike.

Stuart Davis’ love of the city can be seen through his work as he grew from a more realistic to abstract painter.
