Observational Drawing

Scientist like Charles Darwin use OBSERVATIONAL DRAWING as a method to record what they discover.  In this project you will think like a field scientist to create 2 observational drawings of objects that you find interesting. 

Day 1:

Learn about Darwin

Think of / collect 2 objects to draw

Day 2:

In your sketchbook, write down at least 3 different descriptions of the object

Begin sketching the object using basic shapes

Day 3:

Finish Sketching

Trace in sharpie

Add value with sharpie.

Post an image of your work in the assignment on Google Classroom

Day 4:

T.A.G. another classmates artwork.

Share and discuss .
