Backyard Garden

The Deerfield Backyard Garden represents the typical backyard garden that might be found in Westwood today. A mid-sized suburb 30 minutes outside of Boston, Westwood is a former farming community. Our farms have largely been replaced by homes and the Backyard Garden demonstrates how we can produce food locally in our own backyards. In addition to two raised beds, our Backyard Garden contains a backyard compost bin.
