Pyramid Model/PBIS

Teaching expectations is a critical component in supporting learner’s success and positive experiences in the early childhood classroom. Family involvement is also an important component in supporting social & emotional learning. With your support and collaboration, we will be working together to teach your child the school & classroom expectations:

Be Safe - use walking feet inside, wash away outside germs, stay with your group, etc…

Be Respectful - keep our body in our own space, take turns, use a calm voice, etc…

Be Responsible - after we play - put away, follow directions, etc…

Each month, we will share tips on how you can support your learner’s social & emotional skills at home & share ways that we are teaching social and emotional skills at school. We’ll also encourage you to participate in our monthly Family Challenges where you and your learner will practice a social skill and report back to the center.
