My Project:
I chose to use Pic Collage for my example, but you can use paper or another app on your iPad.
The final calendar should just have the expression for each day and the answer to the expression (all your work will be shown in the packet).
The final product should be 8.5 x 11. You can use colored pencils, crayons, stickers, etc. to show your "theme", but it's not the most important part of the project.
6thGrade:
Number System Project Requirements
8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper (or similar digital size)
An "A" project will contain the names of the number categories (natural, whole, integers, rational, irrational, imaginary), their abbreviation (if applicable), an explanation of the numbers in that category, and at least 3 examples of numbers in that category.
6th & 7th Grade:
Olympic Infographic Requirements
8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper (or similar digital size)
Use Mrs. Saetveit's presentation as a resource
An "A-A+" project will have a title, 5+ relevant facts, 3+ relevant graphics, and source(s) cited.
You must get written feedback from 3 people (1 must be an adult) about your infographic. This will be turned in to Dr. Spady for part of the grading. This can be written out on paper or typed on your iPad.
Feedback from Mrs. Henningsen on my Infographic
I like the flow of information from general to more specific. I like that you used an even amount of text and words. As far as ways to improve, I don't see much that I would change. I suppose you could tie the paragraphs back to the main image if you used a rectangle background behind each of the paragraphs with one of your main colors from the main graphic at the top.
Feedback from Mrs. Saetveit on my Infographic
I like it! The title and "story" are clear. I love the graphic at the top. I was wondering if you could try two font colors instead of black or if that would be distracting?
Feedback from Mrs. Shabram on my Infographic
For the bronze medal, could you put the word "single" or "double" on them for the year he won them. Or maybe say, "He has won 3 bronze medals - 2 in Rio, 1 in Tokyo.
It would be cool to see a "bouncing ball" graphic for the last fact.
Send ONE email with all attachments when you are ready for me to grade them.

Here is a link to a student's project from last year.
NOTE that this project from last year is on Google Slides and yours needs to be on ONE piece of 8 1/2 x 11 of paper.
NOTE that he did more than 3 properties which put him in the A+ category.
NOTE that each property has:
an explanation in words
an algebraic representation with variables
an example using numbers
a picture representation
