This program allows for students to rent graduation gowns in order to reduce waste and increase accessibility.
These structures will be stationed in the cafeteria to house the waste bins where trash, recycling, and compost will be sorted.
Students were hard at work towards the end of our school year getting the PVC structures ready to house the composting bins, recycling bins, and garbage cans in the high school cafeteria. We are hoping to finish building 6 PVC structures next year by the launch of our program.

With the help of the fall semester "Painting Big" class, we have some beautiful murals on display in the SHS cafeteria. On the left the class painted us a beautiful mountain landscape! Check out Zero in the bottom corner reminding everyone to do their part for the planet. On the right, our slogan for the composting initiative, "love food, waste less" is on display with the planet surrounded by four arrows highlighting how waste can be separated into recycling, processed food waste, green food waste, and trash.
