The list below is not exhaustive, but contains games well worth the time. Some you may already have, some are linked for download, and some can be easily purchased online for a nominal cost. For descriptions, you can read about them on Amazon or look for a YouTube on how to play. If you know another good math game that is not on this list, feel free to count it for the challenge points. The grade suggestions by each game are the recommendations for the entering grade, but you may differentiate for a child needing less or more challenge.
K - 1 Add a second die to any board game that uses dice, example: Chutes and Ladders.
This allows students to master their facts through 6 + 6 with automatic fluency through the visual support of dot patterns. As children move along the spaces of the board it reinforces one to one correspondence. For older players, you can encourage them to count the spaces with increasing complexity, for example, count by twos as they move along.K - 2 Hi-Ho! Cherry-O
