Our district’s vision draws upon the concept that learning is the constant, time is the variable.  This maxim perhaps is no more important than it is for our accelerated learners at WPS who do not languish with grade-level expectations when they are in fact exceeding them.  At WPS, students can accelerate at any point in the school year in any core content performance level.   We also offer innovation and magnet school options.  Further, programming and educational approaches for high-ability learners based on student interests and curiosities include discussion groups, instructional coaching, project-based learning, Career Technical Education, field experiences, Celebrating Excellence!, concurrent enrollment, field experiences, after-school enrichment, service-learning and much more!
