For this challenge we will explore image alteration and line variation to create a recently popular Pop Art Style: The Glitch Effect.

This effect simulates an electronic coding error which makes the picture, display incorrectly on a device. There may be areas of the picture that were moved, deleted or copied to random locations and the color mapping may be slightly off-center. Artwork in this style is pretty unique looking and adds another category to the Pop Art movement.

I am going to briefly list out the steps in order to create a Glitched Design (just so you have an idea of what will take place at each step). Below the written "Steps," I will put more "Tutorial Videos" of artists demonstrating this technique. The videos will show, in greater detail, of what to do in each step.

First you will decide on what you would like to draw. This challenge will be "open" (your choice) and the subject can be anything that you enjoy drawing.
Once you decides on a subject, you will sketch it out on your paper/canvas. Try to draw the sketch lines lightly, this will be helpful in Step 2.

After your sketch is complete, you will begin to plan out and draw this next phase. You will have three choices: Move Option, Delete Option and Copy Option (the first Tutorial video explains this in full detail).

Next you will outline your sketch lines using a marker/sharpie/ink pen (the first Tutorial video explains this in full detail).
