This trimester your 7th graders will learn to express what they have and need in the classroom. They have been working hard to master conjugating verbs in the present tense, and now they will apply their learning by describing the types of school supplies needed for each class.
Trimester 2: Present Tense, Jugar + Ir

Students are learning to express the verb 'to play' and 'to go' in Spanish while also learning key vocabulary for sports and places around town.
We are also learning how to conjugate verbs in present tense.
Trimester 1: Los infinitivos + 'gustar'
Trimester 1: Los infinitivos + 'gustar'
7th graders are learning 30 core infinitive verbs that they will continue to use throughout the year. We are reviewing 'gustar', which students will use to express what they like to do for each time of day.
Please make sure your student uses Google Classroom activities to study for the upcoming benchmark the week of 9/25. Here are some other review games your child can play:

Welcome back, 7th grade! Next week, we will be learning how to communicate basic needs in class using useful phrases. We will also continue practicing expectations/routines and setting goals for Spanish this year.We will discuss the importance of Spanish in our everyday lives and how we can use Spanish in school or in our future careers. Be sure to ask your student about their individual goals are for the year!
