Welcome!
The Barony of Winter's Gate is the Northern Alaskan chapter of the Society for Creative Anachronism. Our members study and recreate aspects of the Middle Ages and Renaissance.
The Barony covers all of Northern-Alaska and claims the region(s) known as the "Russias" (East of the Urals), on the Asian Continent. This Barony is within the Principality of Oertha in the West Kingdom of the Organization known as Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA).
Polling for Next Baron & Baroness of Winter's Gate.
Candidate letters due March 15th, finalized March 18th. XDone!
Our Candidates are:
Lord Chris of Pavlok Gorod and Lady Ariel of Winter's Gate
and
Baron Hallbiorn Erlaender son, O.P. and Baroness Ellisif í Reykiarvik, O.P.
Next, the Kingdom polling deputy will get the roster of Members & zip codes.
Paper ballot finalized by April 1st.
Only MEMBERS of the SCA will get Ballots.
Talorc will, on April 13, print labels. Media posting and ballots mailed.
Ballots will be paper, but answered either by that paper ballot or the on-line form.
Polling opens April 15th and closes May 6th.
Tally will be completed and communicated on May 9th.
The Seneschal will inform their Majesties Sighfridh hauknefr & Sof'ia Stepanova doch' of results,
Who will approve within a couple of days.
We are aiming for the changeover to be at the June 1st Spring Championships event.
