Originally (2018-2020) based in Utqiagvik (Barrow), AK

Now formed again in 2023 in Nome, Alaska! 

Known as Bjarnarstrond (a constructed Old Norse place name meaning roughly "Bjarni's Coast").

A Canton is an SCA group within a Barony consisting of 5 or more members.

Our geographical position between 64°North and 71.2906° North Latitude will make us the Northernmost branch of the SCA, the next being the Shire of Frostheim in Nordmark (Kingdom of Drachenvald) which is based in Lulea and Boden in Northern Sweden, at 65*50' North.
